Ancestry is the largest provider of family history and personal DNA testing, harnessing the information found in family trees, historical records, genetics and health history to help people gain a new level of understanding about their lives. The foundation of their service is an extensive and unique collection of billions of historical records that we have digitized, indexed and put online.

The Henry County Library, Clinton Branch, offers personal genealogy research for patrons for $5.00 per item that is looked up. Results can be sent by e-mail but if a patron prefers results to be sent via regular mail they must send a self-addressed stamped envelope to the library. The Henry County Library, Clinton location offers test proctoring services at a cost of $10.00 per test. Anyone interested in having a test proctored, needs to schedule it in advance by calling 660-885-2612 or e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Arrangements will also need to be made between the student and the school to have the test materials sent or e-mailed to library staff.

The Henry County Library Clinton branch offers 5 study rooms for patron use. The study rooms each include a white board, plug-in outlet, table, 2 chairs and wifi access. The study rooms are located in the reference area.
The Henry County Library offers public access computers to library patrons with active library cards. Patrons without library cards may purchase a one-time use pass for $1.00. Minors must have passed the 5th grade and have their parent's or guardian's permission in order to use the computers independently. The Clinton Branch has 6 standard computers with a 2 hour use limit, one 30 minute computer, and one microfiche reader. The Lenora Blackmore Branch in Windsor has 6 standard computers that have a 2 hour use limit.
Learning Express Library is a program that includes practice tests and tutorials designed for students elementary through graduate levels and adult learners. Academic or licensing tests are available, with immediate scoring complete answer explanations and individualized results analysis.
