Who Are the Friends of the Henry County Library?

An ALL volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Henry County Library.

 

What is the Purpose of the Friends of the Henry County Library?

The purpose of the Friends shall be to develop and maintain an association of Library supporters, to heighten awareness of Library services and facilities, to promote public support for the enhancement of the Library resources, to develop supplemental funding for the Library and to provide, sponsor, or support programs that further Library objectives.

 

How can I join?

Annual memberships are available for individuals and households. Simply fill out a membership form that can be found at either library location. Individual membership costs $5.00 per year. A Household membership costs $10.00 per year.

 

What are the benefits of joining the Friends of the Library?

Friends of the Henry County Library receive a 10% discount off of library book sale materials. Friends will also receive periodic newsletters detailing activities and volunteer opportunities.

 

What else can I do to support the library?

The Friends of the Henry County Library is always seeking the following donations:

Monetary funds

Auctionable items

Books

DVDs

Jig-saw puzzles

Cake Pans

Estate Planning Bequests

 

The Friends of the Henry County Library is a 501(c)3 organization and is able to provide tax receipts for all items donated.
