In commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing, the Henry County Library would like to invite children and their parents to celebrate this momentous occasion at the library. We will be doing four interactive moon activities that include: how craters are made on the moon, why there are dark areas on the moon, engineering a landing touchdown, and watching the footage of the actual moon landing. We hope you will join us as we celebrate this “one small step for man, and one giant leap for mankind”.
Please note this is approximately a two-hour program!!
