UKULELE 101

UKULELE 101 AT THE LIBRARY

Have you ever wanted to learn to play the Ukulele? Well, here’s your chance to get to know the basics of this fun and special instrument. David Firman, a founding member of the Kansas City Ukesters, will be teaching two 1 hour clinics on how to play the Ukulele. Ukuleles will be provided to participants but patrons can also bring their own if they have one. Registration is required for this program and spaces are limited. Anyone who is interested is encouraged to sign-up today at the library in person or by calling 660-885-2612. This program is a great way for adults and teens to learn more about music and to celebrate the summer reading program’s theme of Libraries Rock!
