The Lenora Blackmore Branch of the Henry County Library will be hosting a Banned Book Party for all 7th – 12th graders in Windsor at their location on Friday, September 22, 2017, from 5-7 p.m.
Come learn about the attempts to ban books, the history of banned books (including burning, imprisonment, etc.), and how you can get involved to make a difference. Join us for activities, themed snacks, banned book readings, photos, and to sign up to read a banned book for the chance to win a Barnes and Noble gift card. Sign up today by calling 660-647-2298 or e-mailing HCL@henrycolib.org! Let’s celebrate our Right to Read!
