Current Display Case: Superman Display

                Come to the Henry County Library and check out our high flying Superman display. Superman was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. He first appeared in Action Comics#1 in April 1938. Superman was an immediate hit, appearing in comics, newspapers, on the radio, and of course on TV and in the movies. Superman, whose true name is Kal-El, is an alien from the planet Kryton, who is sent to Earth by his parents during the destruction of Kryton. Fueled by the sun, Superman has many powers including super strength, flight, the ability to shoot lasers out of his eyes, and many more.
